General information on data processing
As a matter of principle, we only process your personal data insofar as it is necessary for the provision of a functional website and our content and services. Your personal data is regularly processed only with your consent. Exceptionally, we process data if consent cannot be obtained for actual reasons and data processing is permitted by legal regulations.

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations of personal data, Art.6 para.1 lit.a EU Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art.6 para.1 lit.b DS-GVO serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest, Art.6 para.1 lit.f DS-GVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies.

Provision of the website and creation of log files
Each time our website is called up, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data is collected:

- Browser type and the version used
- Operating system of the user
- Internet service provider of the user
- IP address of the user
- Date and time of access
- Websites from which the user's system accesses our website.

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary for the duration of the session to enable delivery of the website to your computer. The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is deleted when the respective session has ended. There is no possibility to object, as the collection of data and storage in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website.

Use of cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on your computer system. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness of the site. The data collected in this way is pseudonymized by technical precautions, so that no assignment of the data to the calling user is possible.
Note: Cookies are stored on your terminal device and transmitted from it to our site. Therefore, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transmission of cookies. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.

E-mail contact
If you contact us via the e-mail address provided, your personal data transmitted by e-mail will be stored and used exclusively for processing the conversation. The data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for this conversation. You have the option to object to the storage of your personal data at any time, but this will prevent the conversation from continuing. We ask for your understanding.

Google Analytics
Our website uses functions of the analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses "cookies" (see above). These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google explains further details in its privacy documentation. You can deactivate Google Analytics for your browser using an add-on.

We also use the technical extension "Google Signals", which enables cross-device tracking. This makes it possible to associate an individual website visitor with different end devices. However, this only happens if the visitor has logged into a Google service when visiting the website and at the same time has activated the "personalized advertising" option in their Google account settings. Even then, however, no personal data or user profiles become accessible to us; they remain anonymous to us. If you do not wish to use "Google Signals", you can deactivate the "personalized advertising" option in your Google account settings.

Google AdWords
This website uses Google AdWords, an analysis service of Google, and within Google AdWords the conversion tracking. Google AdWords stores a cookie for conversion tracking in your browser (so-called "conversion cookie") when you click on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.

The information obtained using the conversion cookies is used to create statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. Through these statistics, we learn the total number of users who clicked on the ad placed by Google and visited a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.

In addition to conversion tracking, we also occasionally use the following features:

- Remarketing - Target groups with common interests
- Custom audiences with common interests
- Ready-to-buy audiences
- Similar audiences
- Demographic and geographic targeting

With Google's remarketing function, we reach users who have already visited our website. This allows us to present our advertising to target groups that are already interested in our products or services. AdWords also uses user behavior on websites in the Google advertising network ("display network") over the last 30 days and the contextual search engine to determine the common interests and characteristics of users of our website. Based on this information, AdWords then finds new potential customers for marketing purposes whose interests and characteristics are similar to those of the users of our website. Target group-specific remarketing is carried out through the combined use of cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies and Google DoubleClick cookies. For more information on the terms of use and data protection in the context of Google AdWords, please follow this link.

Browser Plugin
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link.

LinkedIn
Our website uses functions of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time one of our pages containing LinkedIn functions is accessed, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our web pages with your IP address. If you click the "Recommend Button" of LinkedIn and are logged into your account at LinkedIn, it is possible for LinkedIn to assign your visit to our website to you and your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. For more information, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy.

Teads True Visits
We use Teads True Visits (Teads Deutschland GmbH, Poststrasse 6, 20354 Hamburg, Germany) to track user behavior. The installed Teads pixel sends a signal every time a user visits our website. Teads can then confirm whether it already knows the user or not. If the user is already known to Teads, he will be excluded from our campaign. If the user is not known to Teads, Teads does nothing, as the pixel only reads users who already have the Teads cookie on their device and thus have consented to tracking. The sole purpose of this pixel is to analyze whether the Teads cookie has already been installed on the user's device. If this is the case, the Teads cookie will subsequently identify the Teads user who visited our website and exclude him from our campaign.

The Teads pixel allows access to the following information and technical characteristics of the device: current URL, Auctid parameter (optional parameter that Teads sends via the target URL), device, browser and operating system. No exchange of personal data takes place. The pixel is not used to collect or share personal data. Teads distributes the True Visits campaign through its own cookie pool and acts as the data controller for the provision of the Teads True Visits service. The cookies are set on websites of the Teads Publisher Network upon consent, which consent can be proven by Teads at any time. The data is only analyzed if such a cookie is already present on the user's computer prior to visiting the website. Further information on data protection by Teads can be found under the following link.

Rights of the data subject
Should your personal data be processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the DS-GVO, and you are entitled to comprehensive rights vis-à-vis the controller. You will receive free information about what personal data has been stored about you. Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data, you have a right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data blocked or deleted. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
